Thank you for this website!!! I am currently reading Day Care Deception and it's a real eye-opener.
I have always felt that day care was dangerous, even before I had kids. The idea that somebody else is essentially raising your kids was disturbing to me.

...I can say that your site speaks volumes about my feelings about daycare.
My wife and I believe that the idea of daycare is awful. How can you expect to raise a strong, confident, secure boy when you leave them with strangers who couldn't give 2 bits about raising your children? I have seen these places and to me they are what I call 'children farms' similar to chickens in a coop. Anyhow, I just wanted to tell you how appreciative I am of your site. Thank you for saying what others won't and keep up the great work.
E-mail to this site from Julie L., "Your Website", 7-Mar-06 You have no idea how grateful I am to have found your website. The plethora of information is incredible.
Your resources are wonderful and have been a real boost to us regarding our commitment to our child.
Thank you for  the time and effort you've put into your site.
E-mail to this site from Jamie H., "daycare comment", 8-Mar-06 Let me just say Wow! I love this site.
I keep asking myself why did (my sister) go through all the pain and stress of (fertility) treatments just to put her child in what I call "America's orphanage"?
Thank you so much for this website.

Just wanted to say this site is wonderful.
This is really a wonderful website, you are doing a great thing for society.
Thank you
e-mail to this site from Linda S., "There is not 1 positive thing about daycare", 6-Apr-06 I have the horrendous misfortune to have 2 child home daycare providers abut my property.
They are exempt from zoning and are eminent domain* in residential areas (in Massachusetts).
My neighbor had barrels outside filled with dirty diapers. There is the blight of tons of toys all over the place. There are screaming children...There is absolutely no respect for neighbors. Parents race in and out of the driveway right in front of my house every single day.
When I complain to the Department of Child Services nothing is done.
I am told to put earplugs in my ears, put up fences, or move, but not one person tells these providers one thing.
It is incredible. You cannot imagine what it is like until you live next to one for 5 years as I have.
I could go on and on. There is not one positive thing about home childcare.
Eminent Domain = the inherent power of the state to seize a citizen's private property, expropriate property, or rights in property with due monetary compensation, but without the owner's consent (United States law).

e-mail to this site from Hanna H., "My daycare experience", 19-Apr-06 As soon as I put my 12-month-old in daycare, she contracted a viral infection. It obviously was contagious because I got sick as well...
She also came home with a huge gash on her thigh near her diaper area and stupid me, I was afraid to bring it to the center's attention because I feared they might retaliate or alienate my child. Then when I finally had the nerve to confront them, they flat-out-denied it! I withdrew my child from daycare immediately!
My advice to parents (if you MUST put your child in daycare), document your child's condition on a daily basis, take before and after photos if necessary...
Bottom line: DAYCARES only CARE ABOUT YOUR money not your child!!!! Trust your intuition, don't let your child suffer.
I will never put my child in daycare again. Please post this on your website
